We’ve defended ourselves, defended our choices, defended our lifestyle, defend…defend…defend. It’s part of the reason that the first few drafts of my initial post came off so angry. I worry about my children and whether or not I am putting them in a position that will cause them to have to constantly be on the defensive as well. Being different is a tricky thing and when forced upon the wrong person it has the potential to become a curse. My children are destined to be different for two very obvious reasons: 1) they are the product of two moms and 2) because of the two moms that they are the product of.

I know that someone, somewhere will try to convince them that this is a bad thing but being the product of two mommies could not be awesomer and this site will hopefully, provide them with a million (okay maybe not a million but as many as I can come up with) reasons why.
